Try this iron and fibre rich savoury snack. You can add any spice to flavour. The key to making crispy chickpeas is to ensure you pat them dry well before you put them in the oven!

Ingredients:

●     400g can chickpeas (drained)

●     Olive oil spray

●     Smoked paprika (to season)

 

 

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
  3. Spread the chickpeas on a kitchen towel and pat them dry well.
  4. Lay on a flat baking tray and lightly spray with olive oil spray.
  5. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes and remove once golden.
  6. Sprinkle with smoked paprika or any seasoning of your liking.
